During our visit to Peerless Distillery in Louisville, KY, we were treated to a truly unique and exclusive experience. Our private tour for just the two of us ended with Chris sampling a variety of pours in their speakeasy, the very place where all their single barrel selections come to life.
Meet the Legacy: Corky, the owner and fourth generation to the Peerless founder, made a surprise appearance during our tour to personally welcome us. It was a special moment to connect with someone so intricately tied to the distillery's heritage. As if that wasn't remarkable enough, Carson, the fifth generation to the Peerless founder, greeted us in the distillery lobby and shared captivating stories about their family history and the journey that led to the formation of the distillery.
Deep Dive into Distillation: Our immersion into the world of Peerless continued as we were joined by Master Distiller Caleb Kilburn in the still room. As he guided us through their production process, Caleb highlighted what sets Peerless apart from the rest. Getting insights directly from the master distiller himself added a layer of authenticity and expertise to our tour, making it a truly memorable experience. Chris even had the opportunity to sample a dram straight out of the barrel with Caleb!
Exceptional Guidance: Throughout our visit, Nikki Armento, the whiskey experience specialist and our tour guide, was a beacon of knowledge and hospitality.
